We enjoyed our stay at Braeburn and Peter was a very responsive host. The inside was clean and had everything we could have wanted for a vacation cabin. The hot tub was VERY clean and enjoyable haha (it has lights too, very cool I think). Thank you for an amazing stay! - John & Elizabeth.

Truly magical, peaceful and beautiful location. Super nice hosts. Space was spotless, and Peter and Toby had clearly anticipated every need. If you are looking for a place that feels like you're in the thick of nature, with the most beautiful views, where you can rest and relax fully while still having many important amenities, this is the place for you. There are a variety of places to choose from at the Appleton Retreat, from a treehouse, to a cabin, to a few yurts, but we LOVED our stay at the Braeburn. Lots of privacy and really well spaced out between the units. So cozy, safe and comfortable, just perfect for my tween and I. We were even lucky enough to go on a hike with the 3 furry Retreat ambassadors (the hosts' dogs) that helped us not get lost! Comfortable beds, a selection of board games, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking our dinners, the hot tub and firepit to stargaze, truly we couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be back to this very special place!

We thoroughly enjoyed another visit at The Appleton Retreat. The Braeburn was exactly what we needed to unwind for the weekend. The furniture was very comfortable and the place was extremely clean. Peter and Toby are great hosts that have created something magical. We look forward to our return.
