A lovely home away from home! We really enjoyed our stay in this accommodation which is well equipped, comfortable and welcoming. Helene and Jacques were very kind hosts and prepared some recommendations on what to do in the area. Conveniently located close to a grocery store, a gas station and several trailheads of Cape Breton’s national park.

The Eagles Nest was an excellent place to stay. Helene and Jacques were both kind and personable hosts, meeting us when we arrived, personally showing us the apartment, and Jacques even helped carry our suitcase! They had helpful recommendations for hikes and things to see and do. The area is fabulous and beautiful. The apartment was clean and very cozy….which was invaluable on the day of heavy rain. We felt like family and Helene shared with us delicious homemade pie she had made for her family for Thanksgiving. We cannot say enough positive things about our stay

A cosy property in a perfect location to explore a beautiful part of the world. Helene & Jacques were there to meet me late into the evening and were most welcoming. The property is precisely as described and a great place to come back to after a day out in the amazing countryside of Cape Breton. Thoroughly recommended.

The space was exactly what I hoped it for when I booked it. Comfortable, clean, and very welcoming hosts. Kitchen was well appointed with space to eat inside or out on the deck. The indoor space was comfortable for sitting for a read or to check email. WiFi worked great. Bathroom was clean with lots of hot water and water pressure. Bed was comfortable. The space, the hosts, and the price were all perfect for this part of my trip. Would recommend to any single or couple travellers.
