Perfect studio in a secluded area with beautiful surroundings. The studio was clean and had everything you need for a peaceful stay. Including homemade banana bread!

Sue Ellen & Fred's home is a beautiful spot in Grimes County. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and beautiful lake views from porch rockers and quiet walled garden at sunset. With the lights lit up it was like having our own private lodge and grounds in which to enjoy our time. The pool is lovely and although it was too cool during our stay to take a swim, the rock fountain into the pool provided a delightful background noise to the view. The inside was super clean and decorated to feel like home, with comfortable seating, movie selections, and games.Great little kitchenette amenities and supplies to grill out if inclined or cook inside on the two burner hot plate, micro or small toaster oven. We brought dinner in from Legends Steakhouse in Madisonville and enjoyed it out on our "personal" patio the second evening. Comfy bed and beautiful linens add to the 5-star resort feel. You're in the country, but 15 minutes off I-45 and the giant Buccees and Madisonville Christmas store!

We enjoyed our stay in a place that felt relaxing and peaceful. It is memorably curated with antique pieces and very comfortable. The banana bread was a delicious add on that we enjoyed!

Me and my wife had a great time at Sue Ellen’s place. It was sparkling clean with a beautiful pool and grilling area with all the supplies. It’s a perfect place to get away from city and spend a quite and peaceful time with your loved one. Sue Ellen is sweet and very quick with her response. For us, it was worth every penny we spend and would love to book it again.

Sue Ellen and Fred’s place was just what we needed! It was a beautiful property with so many lovely seating areas outside. The pool area was gorgeous and the studio itself was pristine! Sue Ellen was very accommodating and a pleasure to visit with!
