Stayed at The Stables for a friends wedding weekend at nearby Hornington Manor. Anne’s place is in a lovely quiet spot and had everything we needed for our weekend away. Would recommend a visit to Doyly’s tea room for breakfast lunch or cake which is right next door. Take heed of advice about pre-booking taxis as well if needed for trips anywhere.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stables when we were attending a wedding at the Normans. It was a perfect littie home from home , very clean and comfortable with everything that we needed for convenience . It is very cosy and has a relaxing atmosphere . We especially liked sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine, listening to the owls. The real bonus was the tea rooms that form part of the main house which are very spacious with a good menu and we were offered a discount as temporary residents . The breakfast was delicious! We would be happy to stay again Thank you Anne!

Beautiful dwelling, food in their tearooms was delicious and their staff are very friendly. Henry & Vicky were very kind, helpful and willing to chat and offer advice and directions to everything in the area.

Great stay!! Henry was very accommodating! Lovely scones left on arrival. Tea room on site was a lovely spot for coffee and breakfast. Very comfy bed. Would recommend if you have a wedding in the area (ours was at woolas barn). Although it’s in a village Ubers came quickly.
