We had a lovely 3 nights at The Uncommon Church. Jenny has a fabulous ability to gather an eclectic collection of quirky and interesting pieces and somehow it looks put together. Jenny and Angus thoughtfully provided all the little touches to make our stay comfortable and easy. It was a great central location to base ourselves to explore all that Boonah has to offer and the beautiful Scenic Rim. And…it’s so close to the fabulous Blume Restaurant!

Wonderful place to stay in an old church hall. Jenny met us and showed us around the accommodation and how to use everything. She was quick to reply to our messages and queries which was wonderful. Free parking outside was a bonus. The bed was comfortable with extra blankets, doonas if needed. It was enjoyable just to sit down, disconnect and read.

Wonderful welcome from Jenny with info on the space and area. Great breakfast provided with bread, fruit, coffee and bits. The old church is a fantastic space with all sorts of bits and bobs to look at, with a general sense of calm and space. Very comfortable bed. And the flowers were gorgeous. Thanks to Jenny and Angus for a great stay and look forward to returning.

The Uncommon Church is incredible! Absolutely one of the quirkiest and most exciting places we’ve ever stayed! Loved the whole vibe, comfy beds, dress ups, exploring all the antique goods on display and the lovely hosts. Can’t wait to come back!
