Wij hebben 2 weken verbleven in Casa Pastano, met onze 3 kinderen, en zijn vertrokken met een hart vol mooie herinneringen! Het huis, de tuin, het adembenemende uitzicht over bergen en vallei, de rust, de natuur, de ruimte, het was gewoon echt fantastisch. Cultuur opzoeken kan vanaf hier ook heel goed. Borgo val Taro, Sestri Levante, La Spezia, de Cinque Terre (Manarola), Castello di Compiano, maar ook juist alle kleine dorpjes in de nabije omgeving waren gewoonweg schitterend! Voor de kinderen waren er vele mogelijkheden om heerlijk te zwemmen, 2 zwembaden op 10 minuten rijden, maar rivier de Taro (op 2 minuten) was nog het meest favoriet! Overal restaurantjes met heerlijk Italiaans eten. En iedere dag Italiaans ijs! Phil en Hilary waren niet aanwezig tijdens ons verblijf, maar zó pro actief, behulpzaam en zorgzaam in alle communicatie. We voelden ons bijzonder welkom. We hopen hier zeker ooit nog eens terug te komen! Deze plek heeft een plek in ons hart!

Fijn en ruim huis en mooie locatie! Huis was heel schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken. Bij aankomst stond er koffie, iets lekkers en wijn op de tafel als verwelkoming, heel attent. Genoeg leuke dingen ( strand, stadjes, zwembad) te doen in de omgeving. We hebben t heerlijk gehad.

We just spent a wonderful 2 weeks vacationing in the Val di Taro region. Casa Pastano was the perfect place to visit this amazing part of Italy. The house is in a quiet area for people who want to get away from the hustle, this place is ideal. The Val Di Taro region is simply breath taking with so many beautiful little towns. In addition, one cannot visit the area without tasting the various delicacies offered in the nearby towns. Hilary & Phil’s recommendations on this subject were outstanding. The location was perfect as we could easily access the Ligurian Coast (Cinque Terre, Porto Venere amongst others) via car or by train (Train Station at Borgo Val Di Taro located 20 minutes away). You can also visit the local markets; Bedonia (Saturdays) and Borgo Val di Taro (Mondays) to get delicious local produce. The apartment unit was spacious and easily accommodated 6 people. The unit had a large private terrace with an outstanding view. It was a great place to enjoy your coffee in the morning, or to have a meal or to simply relax. On the ground floor level there is a large cellar with its own access which is equipped with a washing machine and facilities for drying either indoors or outdoors. Hilary & Phil are great hosts with loads of information about the region. Helpful and very easy to contact. I would strongly recommend the place for everyone loving rural environment, silence and relaxing surroundings. The mountains are just lovely. We would definitely recommend staying at Casa Pastano. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful part of Italy. Thank you Hilary & Phil

Casa Pastano is a fantastic place for both adults and children. The views and amenities are fantastic with Phil and Hillary are great hosts. This was our second stay and we loved it just as much as our first. We will be back!! Luigi

We would highly recommend Casa Pastano as a fantastic place to stay and relax. Phil and Hillary were fantastic hosts and we will certainly be returning. The facilities, views and location were excellent. It had everything you could wish for in an idyllic setting.
