Our stay with 2 families (5 kids, ages 5-10) was great! We didn’t need to leave for 2 days. The kids had a great time exploring nature on the property and the house had everything you needed: bed lines, towels, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, fire wood, bbqs and accessories and anything else you can think of! Would definetely recommend :-)

The photos of this house do not do it justice. The land and home are BEAUTIFUL. The beds were incredibly comfortable; I can't remember the last time I slept so well. We spent Christmas at the house and Debbie even decorated before we arrived. We didn't mind the limited wifi because it helped us detach from the world and just enjoy being in nature. Perfect getaway cabin, and Debbie was ana amazing, accommodating host. Would love to stay there again, and I recommend it to anyone wanting a cozy cabin stay in the woods, that is just a few minutes drive from town. Thank you Debbie!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house, especially the kitchen, is very well stocked. I loved the secluded setting surrounded by woods!

This place was great! We were a party of 6 (1 couple and 4 singles) and there were plenty of beds to accommodate everyone. We all agree that the beds are very comfortable. There is a lot of space for everyone to spread out - both inside and outside. The kitchen is super well equipped, and we cooked full meals for 6 each night. We had a fire one night in the patio fire pit with well seasoned wood and an effective fire starter supplied. We drove to and hiked Arc of Appalachia trails in Adams County each day, and visited Miller's one day for lunch - the location was perfect for that. The house is very clean (and this is definitely something I am picky about and do not always get with short-term rentals), and communication was clear and timely. I would definitely rent this place again and may very well since family lives in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Athens and it is a convenient meeting point with access to lots of hiking, which is what we like to do together.
