This place served our purposes well enough but it was tight. The kitchen is very small (but reasonably well equipped), there is no mud room or anywhere to stow snowy/wet clothes, and bedrooms are very small (and none have their own bathroom — all bathrooms are shared). If you are just skiing and sleeping it’s perfectly fine, but otherwise there are better properties in the neighborhood, especially for this price.

Was able to get family/spouses all together for a good time. Large table was a great gathering area for food, games and puzzles. Watched all the NFL games and movies over the Christmas weekend - great cozy setup. The grill worked great for steaks and was able to cook multiple meals in the kitchen. Did a couple family hikes around the neighborhood lakes with one of them being a little over 3 miles - be prepared for the wet. Deer are everywhere. Did a solo hike - plenty challenging at the Dolly Sods access at the top of the neighborhood. Intertubing at Canaan for a couple hours - plenty to do!

Serene cabin embedded in beautiful wilderness. Lots of room the backyard for lawn games. Feels private and secluded. All the amenities that made this place definitely worth the stay.

Convenient location to ski areas. Well worn house could use some updating, otherwise perfectly adequate.

Our family has found a piece of heaven and would like you to be part of our dream. We have 60 homes to choose from, most with hot tubs and fire places. Many are pet friendly! All different sizes and styles from a romantic cottage for two, to a large home for a reunion. All of our guests have complimentary and exclusive access to Mirror Lake. We purchased Canaan Realty at Mirror Lake in August 2017. Each summer we offer new updates for our guests. Enjoy swimming, fishing, paddle boating, kayaking, canoeing, SUP boarding and more! We have a new beach, updated dock, fire pit and gazebo. We have a few lakeside homes that book very quickly and many others that are 1- 5 miles from the lake. We are located in beautiful Canaan Valley WV (Tucker County) 5 minutes from Davis and Thomas where you can enjoy multiple restaurants, breweries, bars, art galleries, quaint shops and more! Canaan Valley's high elevations and cooler temperatures make this well known for mountain biking, hiking and relaxing in Spring, Summer and Fall and a winter destination as well with downhill and cross country ski resorts, tubing, sledding, ice skating, fat tire biking and more! Enjoy 900,000 acres of Monongahelia National Forest, Canaan Valley Wildlife Refuge, Canaan Valley State Park and Blackwater Falls State Park. We hope to see you soon!
