We (6 adults and 2 kids) stayed at Lina’s place for one week. The home was absolutely gorgeous. The view from the lanai was so beautiful we couldn’t believe it. The location is within walking distance to the beach and the diamond head lookout, but far enough from the city which we loved. Samson, the house manager was very attentive and we felt like we were very well taken care of. We’d love to come back!

I travel to Hawaii every year and this time I decided to bring my sister and her family. We rented Linas house and it was the perfect location and space for what we wanted! Lina was super responsive and communicated proactively. Samson (house manager) was beyond amazing- even helped us set up the crib! I’m hoping this house is available to rent next year when we are back in town! You won’t regret staying here- it’s perfect!

This house is great! Great location, beautiful view very close to Waikiki, but far enough away to have quiet time The layout of the house is perfect and is furnished nicely. Our hosts Lina and Sampson were very nice and accommodating. 5 stars ⭐️ Thank you Sampson for being so helpful

We stayed at Lina’s place for two weeks and had a lovely time. We indeed encountered a few cockroaches and ants but were not a deal breaker. The views and location are top notch, with views of the Waikiki waves and a short straight drive to downtown and it’s amenities. The home is spacious and fit for two full families with kids. There are top notch appliances and ample dining space for everyone. As stated the home is not central air everywhere but each bedroom has its own AC, so open doors and ocean breezes serve to cool the main area. The appointed concierge accommodated an early check in and answered all questions quickly (When we wanted a drip coffee maker we had one by the end of the day!) Some minor adjustments may be needed to cater to the “luxury” crowd but in general anyone staying here will enjoy their time.

WARNING: DO NOT RENT THIS LOCATION unless you are looking for a filthy cockroach infested stay with an unapologetic host who thinks it's perfectly normal to encounter cockroaches on the daily. I'll get straight to the point. We spent a pretty penny looking to book the perfect Hawaiian stay for my family and group of friends. And I mean why not? It would be our very first post pandemic trip. We were all excited and were more than willing to pay a premium price for a premium experience. The photos were beautiful and we booked this location about 2 months prior to our arrival. The first thing that was off is that we literally received no check in instructions until the day of. I had to personally reach out several times. Honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal, but it was definitely stressful. It wasn't until the actual day of that we came to find cockroaches- some dead, some still kicking (photos/videos sent to host)- in the kitchen, hallway area, and patio that truly horrified us. The person showing us the space shrugged it off and said it's normal since we are in a tropical climate. As if that wasn't bad enough, we came to realize that there is literally no central A/C in the common area. We were told to simply leave the windows and doors open. Caution: the listing does say there is A/C in every room but makes no remark about the lack of A/C in the common area. It was a crafty sleight of hand in the listing that we overlooked and paid the price for it. If it was made clear that there would be no A/C in the common area, we simply would have booked another location. No harm, no foul. But due to there being no A/C, we were forced to have the windows and doors open all day. This attracted a variety of flies, wasps, and lizards into the house. It was not only disgusting, but also posted a safety risk for my 2 year old child as well. Other more minor issues included the location simply not being cleaned thoroughly upon arrival- dirty toilets, showers with mildew, and dirty floors that made our feet black (photos sent to host). Honestly, this place is well designed and we would have been more understanding had the host showed more remorse and made an effort to be accommodating. Instead, my initial message to them was met with a lack of responsibility and poor excuses (ie. "Cockroaches in the house are expected/normal due to tropical weather"). WHAT? does that mean all of the other airbnb's/hotels on the island have cockroaches, too? I don't think so. I have since escalated this to AirBnB and hope to have a resolution soon. In the meantime, I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to stay here.
