Had a really comfortable short stay at the Annex. Jo, Simon and Lily gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The area is stunning with lots of incredible walks from the front door so I look forward to returning to explore some more. Jo and Simon provided good instructions and info to facilitate an easy stay and navigate their small holding. The woodlands up the back were very handy for letting the dogs have a sniff around and parking was conveniently right out front of the Annex without spoiling the lovely view, which was vast even on a rainy day. The Annex is cosy and peaceful, the bed was just like I have at home so made for a great few nights sleep. The easy clean furniture made for a stress free stay with 2 dogs too.

Had lovely couple days here easy access to the moors which we took advantage off. It was our 7month old Dog 1st holiday she loved it big adventures. Thank you 🙏

Fantastic friendly hosts. Fab cosy place to stay with amazing views. So nice that logs for the burner are provided. Our two dogs had a great time in the woodlands on their property and the Moors right on the door step. And not too far to drive into Chagford.

Beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views and a short distance to wonderful walks on open moorland. Simple, comfortable accommodation with plenty of space for two. Absolutely loved having the wood burner which made the space feel cosy on a chilly April weekend. Plentiful hot water for a soak in the tub after a chilly walk was lovely too! Warm and friendly welcome from Jo. Chagford itself was not walkable in the evening/after dark but only a ten minute drive and we loved our meal (and Dartmoor ale!) at The Three Crowns on Sunday evening. Delicious vegan all day breakfast at The Bee Hive farm shop and lovely coffee and cake at The Birdcage! Chagford has a friendly, creative, community feel which we really enjoyed. We feel thoroughly well rested, restored and inspired after our stay. Would highly recommend! Many thanks.

Jo and Simon’s is an idyllic retreat. Very peaceful and calm…beautiful views. The nearby town has everything you need. Would definitely recommend.
