Beautiful setting, exceptionally spacious and supremely comfortable --and Yvonne is the perfect hostess . Would definitively recommend !
We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Yvonne's peaceful getaway, with beautiful surroundings and everything we needed. Yvonne's communication was quick and informative, and the property was easy to find. The Stables is very private, with stunning views across fields and the river, and we were able to watch the sunrise from the bedroom. There was plenty to do just a short driveaway, from the forest of Dean and the Wye Valley to Gloucester and pretty villages. A large Tesco and a few restaurants were also not far so we could get everything we needed. The scones and fresh milk were also a lovely treat! Thank you so much, Yvonne, for a wonderful stay, we'll be back!
Lovely stay and everything that is required was available, would book again for the engineers who visited.
The Stables is in a wonderful location with uninterrupted views to the River Severn across fields and hedgerows (a great area for bird-spotting). The house is well laid out, well-equipped and beautifully clean. It lies within a dairy farm and we spent over an hour with the host in the fully-automated milking shed admiring the herd and marvelling at the interaction between contented Holstein cattle and robots. Fear not, the farm doesn't smell. The location offers easy access to the Forest of Dean, Symonds Yat, Gloucester/Cheltenham, Chepstow, etc.
We had a very peaceful stay - the area is lovely and quiet. The house had everything we needed, would recommend. Thank you! :)

Hello! I’m Yvonne and I’m somewhere between 21 and 70 years old. I grew up on a farm and then went on to marry a farmer, so I guess you could say my childhood hasn’t ended yet. I love animals, humans too, but especially animals. I’d love to welcome you to our holiday home The Stables.
