Only double vaccinated guests please A large bright double room with an en-suite bathroom in a bungalow in a quiet residential road in Monks Risborough on the edge of the Chilterns. Princes Risborough is five minutes by bus from the local stop ten minutes away. Monks Risborough station, with access to London Marylebone and Oxford, is a two minute walk away. We supply a continental breakfast. Takeaways and a restaurant are within a five minute walk. Car parking is on the drive. The accommodation is all on the ground floor of our home with no steps from the front door. We offer a large bright and airy double room, with a proper double bed fitted with a memory foam mattress, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There are two comfortable armchairs for viewing the TV. The en-suite bathroom has a shower over the corner bath. A kettle and a cafetiere are provided for tea and coffee making. The continental breakfast offered includes cereals, toast and croissants plus yoghurts and fresh fruit. To drink we offer juice as well as tea and coffee.

非常愉快的一次入住体验。好多年没有使用AirB@B了。这次出行英国第一天就让我感觉到了舒适。Ann和她的丈夫热情好客，房间舒适温馨，浴室很大、热水非常好。由于我们倒时差又加上自驾一天，很累。我们简单买了点速食食品和Ann一起共进晚餐！非常开心的聊天，就像老朋友见面一样。非常推荐的一个住宿地址！

Ann and her husband are a friendly, understanding couple with a spotless, comfortable home. I had some mechanical problems with my road bike and it seemed I would lose the stay and my deposit - but Ann was very helpful with prompt information that helped me find a local train that brought me to her house as night was falling. The room you will stay in is actually a little bigger and more comfortable than the photos suggest. Note that the room includes a spacious private bathroom as well as breakfast. The house also has a workshed where I was able to securely store my bike. Highly recommended!

The property is on the edge of The Chilterns, an Area of Outstanding National Beauty, with good walking a short distance from the house. The official residence of the Prime Minister - Chequers - is within a 20 minute drive and the pub made famous by David Cameron meeting the Chinese PM is just over a mile away. Other good pubs and restaurants are close by.
Monks Risborough station is a two minute walk from the house. You can reach London Marylebone within an hour and Oxford via Princes Risborough in a little over an hour. The other direction takes you to Aylesbury. The nearest bus stop is a 10 min walk away for High Wycombe and Aylesbury - a service running every 20 minutes.

Retired and living with husband of 42 years. We enjoy walking and doing DIY to the house.Apart from that we do like holidays and so until Covid went away quite often. I volunteer in a local charity shop and also at a local National Trust property while Richard goes off cycling.
