Anna’s home was a fantastic getaway. If you’re looking to get away from work and distractions, this is the spot for you! Extremely limited service and the cabin’s rustic feel let us quiet our thoughts and relax.

The cabin by the river is literally a little piece of heaven and one of the most awe-inspiring and special experiences we’ve had. Finishing up our 2.5 week trip (from Australia) at Anna’s place was absolute perfection - very hard to leave. The surroundings are not well pictured on air BnB, the river, the woods are breathtakingly beautiful. We felt like we were in a moving painting! Tubing down the river was so fun and relaxing, even as the temps dropped. The fireplace inside and out was a huge favourite and we spent most of our days immersed in the natural beauty. The cabin is adorable, rustic but in a soft, feminine style, with carefully chosen antiques and a sense of stepping back in time. Truly it is the most unique and replenishing experience. Not sure if we’ll ever get back to SouthWest Virginia but we would love to! Floyd and Hillsville are lovely little towns with a slice of Appalachian life that is so welcoming and feels like a step back to a simpler time. Book it!! Perfection

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed a weekend of fishing, reading by the water, and relaxing. We love the unplugged aspect as well. The cabin was cozy and we couldn't recommend the space enough.

The setting for this cabin was gorgeous! The cabin sits among large trees that let the sunlight in just the perfect amount. A well kept yard area surrounds the space down to the peaceful river. Two outside firepits invite you to be outside even in the cool month of October. We felt completely at home in the space with our two dogs. I absolutely fell in love with the place and look forward to going again soon.
