We had a great stay. The house is very nice and everyone commented on how "home-y" it felt. It has everything you need, which is good because it's pretty far from everything. We enjoyed the bikes on the trail and wished it was warmer to use the kayaks. We're already talking about going back in the summer!

There's no place more peaceful to us than Allisonia! We had a perfect stay. With the well equipped kitchen and comfortable accommodations, there wasn't anything more we could have asked for.

This was such a great Airbnb experience. We met family here for the weekend with our young children and immediately felt at home. Everything was as described and the kitchen was well-stocked. The mattresses were really comfortable and the play room upstairs was enjoyed by the kids which was such a nice touch. Even though it rained, we enjoyed the trail and used the grill for one of our meals. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back sometime.

We caught up over a long weekend with some old friends and let our kids (all under age 5) play. The house is great, everything seems new and in very good condition - even good mattresses. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans. The upstairs had a den/playroom and a closet full of toys. With young kids and cold weather, we didn't get out much, but we did take a couple of fun short hikes along the trail that is practically right outside the front door. While it's satellite internet, there is DirectTV with a DVR so we could record a couple of kid friendly shows. As the listing says, you aren't really close to activities or stores, but you also aren't isolated - it's in a small collection of homes/trailers but we never saw or heard anyone other than some folks on the trail, so not a "cabin in the woods" feel but still nice and quiet. Easy and good communication with the host. No frills location, but a happy and comfy laidback stay.

We thought that Amy and Derek’s place was great. Clean, plenty of room and very comfortable. We weren’t able to use the bikes or Kayaks because it was cold but it was nice to have those available. We will definitely come back again!
