We needed some peace and quiet after a tumultuous several months and holidays. We've been to Prime Hook before and already knew it would be lovely in the early winter, with stunning sunrises on the bay, and sunsets on the sound, and snow geese and other wildlife hanging around. All those treats were there, and Lisa's home bumped the experience way up! The views from the house are incredible. The house itself is bright and airy, extremely clean, and well-equipped but uncluttered. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all we needed, and showers had great water pressure. Lisa is kind and friendly, and she makes every effort to accommodate her guests. I hope we can return some time. We really got the peace we needed. We didn't want to get in the car to go anywhere this time, but there are nice restaurants, breweries, hiking and biking spots just a short drive away in Milton, Lewes, and Rehoboth Beach. Really a wintertime gem!

This was our second time staying at Lisa’s and we love it! Comfortable house, close walk to the bay. Other families were very friendly on the beach, otherwise there’s not much else around, which is perfect if you want to disconnect. There were more mosquitos and seaweed this year, but we had a wonderful time in the bay and at the house anyway. We hope to visit again next year!

Beautiful house, very private-feeling. Because most of the windows look out to the nature preserve and the neighborhood was very quiet, it often felt like there were no other houses around. Beach was super close (maybe 100 feet); pretty and quiet. House was extremely well-stocked, in particular the kitchen with lots of different pots and pans, cooking utensils, and dishware/glassware. Bug spray and beach chairs were also available (but remember to bring your own beach towels). Binoculars were available as well. We were there the week of the Perseids and we spent a couple of very lovely nights on the upper-floor deck peacefully watching the shooting stars. As a trade-off for all the privacy and quiet, note that stores and restaurants are a bit of a drive away; nothing is walkable from the house. The small town of Milton is about a 15-minute drive and the slightly larger town of Lewes is about a 35-minute drive. Would highly recommend Lisa's place for a restful, relaxing beach getaway.

Lovely house. Looked exactly like listing photos. Space was comfortable and bright. lovely private neighborhood. Adjacent to a nature preserve, which we knew, but bug spray was very necessary. Location was away from ocean-front beaches but those were easily reached by a short drive. Worth the rate and would stay again.

Our entire family loved this home and location. We are nature people so we especially appreciated the birds, wildlife, and quiet. Lisa provided all the little things you might not remember that you need to bring, and more. The house was bright, happy, roomy, and comfortable. And its proximity to the beach was a bonus. She was especially timely and responsive and we would definitely go back. :-)
