The Middlepath Cottage is a beautifully restored historic home. It has been painstakingly renovated with lovely decor, furniture and art work. It has all the modern amenities one would expect and is perfectly appointed. We would definitely head back.

We are returning guests and once again, we were delighted with our stay at Middlepath Cottage. The home was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for a weekend trip. I highly recommend this property and this host if you are planning to visit the Mount Vernon/Gambier area.

We absolutely loved Owen's home! Its gorgeous and comfortable. It's spacious yet cozy. It feels professionally decorated and yet very homey. It has a great combination of old world charm and modern amenities, and lots of little special touches at every corner of the house. Owen was super accommodating and friendly, and made us feel so welcome! We would love to stay here again whenever we are back!

A very charming and spacious place to stay! We were checking out Kenyon College, which is about a 10 minute drive away. The whole family really enjoyed it. We had quite a bit of weather and ended up spending more time at the house than we had planned for, but Owen's space made for relaxing family time together. Owen was incredibly accommodating and helped us with both an early check in and internet issues. Kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked with every amenity. Instructions were clear with labels throughout the house. Don't hesitate to book this place - you won't regret it.
