De communicatie vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf, met Ellie was heel fijn. Ze dacht mee en was heel flexibel. Samen met Paul heeft ze ons een voortreffelijke vakantie bezorgd. Hun spontaniteit, interesse en gastvrijheid waren super! Het huis was schoon, compleet en netjes ingericht. Het zwembad was ook heerlijk. Wij raden deze host en haar verblijf ten zeerste aan.
Ellie's and Paul's place is incredibly beautiful and super cozy. They gave us a very warm welcome, tasteful insights to the restaurants in the area und provided us with eveything we needed. For us it felt like staying with friends, so 100% recommend. Kind regards from Cologne and see you soon =)
La casa affittata è minuscola a cominciare dalla porta di ingresso e molto buia e opprimente, nella sala c’è solo una piccola finestrella (che l’host consiglia peraltro di tenere chiusa per non fare entrare il caldo). Il bagno ha doccia minuscola, il wc dietro la porta (se non la chiudi non puoi usarlo) e un lavabo di 30cm x 15. La camera al piano superiore è un sottotetto, ha una finestra (da lasciare chiusa sempre per non fare entrare il caldo) e un letto alla francese piccolo e con il materasso che ‘pende’ verso il centro. L’alta temperatura nella camera da letto non ci ha permesso di dormire, è soffocante e la situazione non è migliorata nemmeno con il ventilatore che ci è stato dato. Alla terza notte (su sei previste) insonne siamo stati costretti ad arrenderci e andarcene. Unica nota positiva è la piscina e vorrei dire anche l’host che ci ha accolto con calore ma che poi non ha voluto riconoscere il disagio e non si è dimostrata attenta e comprensiva e non ci è venuta incontro.:(
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Die Unterkunft ist total gemütlich, der Pool ist ein Traum. Wir haben auch die abendlichen Besuche einer der Katzen genossen 😊 Ellie und Paul waren so freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns sofort Zuhause gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

汽车是必需的。我们位于市中心，方便观光。我们距离法罗机场（ Faro Airport ）四分之三小时车程，距离海岸20-30分钟车程。沿N124路走20分钟即可抵达Silves或Loule

I just love meeting people and get great satisfaction from looking after them, so it was no surprise that we chose to combine our dream home with a way of earning a living. My husband, Paul and I bought our properties in the Algarve in 2000 and spent the next 4 years having them completely renovated in a traditional fashion. We love living in the countryside and we found our perfect place when we came here. The views are spectacular and the nature around here is all we could ask for. I enjoy bird watching and walking which I get to do when i am not too busy. I read lots and love socializing and also spend a lot of time enjoying my craft work hobbies, We love travelling and are always trying to find time for a couple of days somewhere getting to know our adoptive country Portugal. I think Paul and I have aged into perfectly respectable grown-up teenagers, but we do like the finer things in life now. We still get to dress up and shake a wicked hoof down at our favourite bar in Alte occasionally but we also enjoy eating out at the many local restaurants. As Hosts, we have been given very good feedback from our guests, which is very encouraging. We try to make our guests comfortable, ensuring they have everything they want without invading their space, in fact finding the perfect balance to make them feel wanted but not needed. As guests you will have your own cottage and use of the swimming pool, bbq and terrace. We are here if you need us but not if you don't.. The properties do not lend themselves to children or the noisy crowd being only suitable for people who enjoy the unspoilt beauty and tranquility of the countryside.
