We had an amazing stay at George’s home in Idra! It was only a few short minutes walk to the port, and in our opinion had one of the best views of the harbour. Set in a large historic building, it was tastefully decorated, and offered us everything we needed, and more. From a super comfy bed and crisp white bedding and towels, to a fully equipped balcony, including BBQ. It even had a workout room! We found George to be the perfect host. He was kind, generous, and very thoughtful, and always available to answer our queries. He greeted us at the port on arrival and even organised transfer of our luggage from and to the dock. We regularly use Airbnb for our travels, and can honestly say that George has been the most hospitable and welcoming host by far. We would highly recommend a stay here if you were thinking of visiting Idra.

What a gem of a place, This place has the best view in Hydra, we had a Magical time, the place is beautiful and spotless, George & Katerina’s hospitality is unmatched, very friendly & helpful. The place is very well equipped and very well thought out detail in home. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you George & Katerina for your hospitality & exceptional service. Georges et Katerina nous ont permis de passer un bon séjour. La vue est magnifique et l appartement est très bien situé. La cuisine est petite mais de pouvoir utiliser la barbecue sur la terrasse est super. Bonne communication et réactivité .
