We were the first stay of the season and Constantine made it a beautiful experience. The retreat was clean and comfortable, and absolutely stunning outside. We utilized everything- the comfortable hammock, the screened in porch, the grill, the citronella candles, the indoor fireplace/heater, the extra blankets, the dock, the fire pit. Anything we needed was there for us to use. I truly did not want to return to NYC after the weekend at the retreat. Constantine was great and very communicative. Our dog even had an emergency and the students at Cornell Vet School 30 min away handled everything perfectly. I left wanting to own a retreat just like it in the future. What a beautiful location for a vacation rental! Despite an outside temperature of 40 degrees, we were able to stay warm in the cabin with the provided blankets and gas fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up each morning to the ducks, geese, and other water birds playing right in front of the house. I wish we had more time to use the firepit, telescope, and ice cream maker, but this was a perfect long-weekend trip. If Constantine would have us, we would gladly return. Thanks to whomever cancelled last minute and made this place available!

Le chalet de Constantine est superbe. Le lieu est magique. La région magnifique. Mais surtout Constantine est un hôte d’une gentillesse remarquable. Nous avons eu des soucis avec notre voiture. Il a tout fait pour nous aider à distance et il était tellement désolé que nous ayons eu ce problème qui nous a bloqué une journée qu’il nous a proposé de rester une journée de plus sans frais. Une gentillesse et un accueil rare. Encore mille mercis Constantine !

My family and I loved staying here! Clean, cozy and the view of the lake was gorgeous! We felt right at home. Communication with Constantine was excellent. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful cabin getaway. Would definitely go back!

This was our third (4th?) stay at Constantine’s & it was as wonderful as always! We love that he maintains the original character of this well designed & perfectly situated cabin. Fabulous private quiet location. Beautiful lake frontage & dock and lovely screen porch with outdoor seating area.
