Can’t say enough good about this stay! You could see the lake from every room in the house except the bedrooms. Beautiful open floor plan, tons of windows, lake everywhere —paddle boards, kayaks, foam raft ; you could hear the water lapping from your bed. And the birds. Well stocked kitchen, tons of spices and vinegar and you name it. Anything you do in the kitchen you can do it while looking at the lake— so quiet, peaceful, pleasant— just perfect. One minor question with the grill: called Sioux and she responded within three minutes and solved it immediately. Such a great trip

We stayed here for Cornell graduation for our daughter. Even though it was a 35 minute drive, it was worth it for the quiet and the views. The neighbors were friendly and lovely. The house was so well stocked - better than most. Sioux really thought of everything. It was such a kind gesture for her to leave us a bottle of local wine and some local cheese and crackers. We really enjoyed our stay.

This cottage was comfortable and cozy with a functional kitchen that had everything we needed and more. The gas grill came in handy and being right on the water was very peaceful. Our favorite aspect of the place was being able to hear the water lap up against the shore. The outdoor furniture wasn’t in as good a condition as the stuff inside but we made the best of it. Would stay here again if we make it back to the Cayuga area!

This place is a little piece of Heaven! Everything was top notch..the cottage, the location, the views, the neighbors...just fabulous. The owner was a terrific host, adding little extras that make it feel like home. If you want peaceful bliss with views that take your breathe away, this is the cottage for you.

Nice location, the house is right on the water. We enjoyed using the kayaks. We were surprised how quiet it was (we expected occasional power boat noise), but it was very quiet, even on the weekend. Sheldrake Point was our favorite nearby winery and food was good at the Finger Lakes Cider House.
