I've been to Cebu several times but this was the first time I stayed in the SM seaside area. I found it to be very quiet and refreshing. Joy's place is clean and very much as advertised. you need transportation there for every move you make including going to il Corso across the highway. fortunately grab his easily available and low cost so a good solution. I recommend Joy's place as it has all the items needed for a comfortable stay.

Good for Sinulog. You can see the dancers nearly from the balcony. Little problem, the nights before Sinulog are very loud, because the mainstation is in front of the Balcony and the windows, too ;). The rehearsal is the whole night. With drums and trumpets. After Sinulog the night was very quiet. You find erverything you need a little walk away in the SM Seaside Mall. Enough food is in the IlCorso Mall, on the other side of the street.
