We had a lovely stay here at Chris’ place with my two dogs. It’s such a quiet and comfortable place that was perfect for traveling with my pups. No loud noises to bark at. The hotel adjacent had beautiful gardens and play area for the pups. Also beautiful restaurants for breakfast and lunch. I would definitely stay again.

Chris was a responsive and helpful host, providing lots of useful information . His place was spacious and private. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Thank you for your hospitality, we hope to stay here again!

Really amazing space. It seems like it was previously owned and renovated by the neighboring Lengham hotel. Feels more private than the hotel itself, but I was still able to access to Lengham grounds, and I treated myself to drinks at their beautiful bar. Super nice, Lux interior situated in a beautiful original spanish style split level home. I've seen these types of homes all over LA (they remind me of the types of homes you see in any of the hill neighborhoods in LA), but this was my first time getting to see the inside--now I get the appeal. The home itself is enclosed with greenery on the north side, with a beautiful view of San Marino to the south. It was incredibly peaceful and private. Again, it's proximity to the hotel itself makes it feel like you're in a super private bungalow on the the hotel grounds, but without people walking by your room. Kitchen is small, so not really a home home where you would cook a huge meal, but there is a microwave, small stove top, and a beautiful refrigerator. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. Everything was clean and felt like the elevated getaway I was looking for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a slightly more private stay on the grounds of a beautiful historic hotel. I booked this for a small writer retreat, and it was the peace, quiet and atmosphere I was looking for.
