Gemma welcomed us into the home like we were family and so did her cute dog Mimi! There was private space as well as a shared space available! Also the option of going to the backyard was a nice bonus! The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed spending time in the living space! Gemma was super friendly! Easy 20 minute walk from the centre! She also added some extra little features like her book trading library or extra toiletries if something is forgotten! Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Canterbury to stay here!

Gemma was very helpful and flexible to late arrival. The place is near to Cantebury and easy to reach with a bus or taxi. Stay made even because of her dog.

Gemma is an absolutely lovely host, who kindly let me check in during the evening so that I could complete a full day’s hiking beforehand 🙏 She’s very friendly (as is her adorable dog Mimi!) and great company. The house is conveniently close to the city centre and benefits from the peace of being not right in the middle too, a great balance. Parking was easy and it had everything I needed, including a well-stocked kitchen for breakfast. Definitely recommended!
