Luxury apartment in a canal house in the center of Leiden with a beautiful view of the Koornbrug, the town hall and the canal. A wonderfully lively place to discover Leiden. Looking for peace and relaxation? Then enjoy this lovely apartment with nicely furnished living room, two bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom. Amid museums, churches, cafes, and restaurants. Close to Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. The living room of this nice canal house with wooden floor is stylishly furnished. Soft colors ensure that the apartment radiates geniality and atmosphere. A lovely place to unwind after a day of activity and fun. Relax in the apartment with a cup of coffee or glass of wine as city life unfolds right outside your door. To make life enjoyable there is a TV and Sonos sound system with access to guest accounts for Spotify, Netflix, and Disney Plus. The luxury kitchen with kitchen Island/dining table is equipped with all conveniences and appliances, including fridge-freezer, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso, and four-burner ceramic hob. In addition, there is an extendable table adjacent to the kitchen island where you can dine comfortably. Do not feel like cooking? Then visit one of the many restaurants in the neighbourhood. Breakfast? How about a visit to the bakery Van Maanen or bakery and lunchroom Snijers right around the corner! Via a staircase you can reach the second floor where you will find two bedrooms and the bathroom. There is low-pile carpet on the top floor. The beds are made with freshly laundered bed linen and will ensure a pleasant night's sleep. Large and small towels for each guest are piled in the bathroom. Soap, shampoo, dishwasher tablets and detergent are provided. The atmosphere of time is enhanced by the massive wooden beams in the bedrooms. The back room with view on the battlements of the Burcht has a double bed (160 x210cm). The front room a smaller 2-person box spring (140x200 cm). The available folding bed (70x200 cm) can be converted into an extra bed in 15 seconds. A workplace has been set up in this room. The bathroom in black and white has a spacious walk-in shower with both a jet and rain shower. There is a double sink and a washer-dry setup. Hair dryer, ironing board and iron are available.

Beautiful apartment in a great location, right in the heart of Leiden. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and made the perfect base for exploring this area of the Netherlands. Thanks to the apartment's location overlooking one of the canals, it was within short walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops. Also, Leiden rail station was 15 minutes walk away. Luuk was a friendly and helpful host who made check in straightforward and ensured we had all the information we needed. Thank you Luuk!
Het appartement is gelegen hartje centrum Leiden. Perfecte locatie voor het bezoeken van de vele bezienswaardigheden. De inrichting is zeer compleet en van alle gemakken voorzien. Bij aankomst stonden lekkere dingen voor ons klaar zodat we ons erg welkom voelden. Het contact met Luuk is prettig. Kortom: ons verblijf in Leiden voldeed volledig aan de verwachtingen.

We had a fabulous stay in Luuks place. A very cool and contemporary apartment with plenty of space, great facilities and all you need for the family. We loved the relaxed vibe of Leiden & could access Amsterdam easily with 15 min walk to the station. Luuk was very attentive and answered any questions promptly. Leiden is a very picturesque town with loads of great coffee shops, restaurants and clothing shops very nearby this wonderful apartment. The street scene right outside the door to the apartment was always busy with interesting activities — from a street musician festival on our first day to two full days of wonderful market stalls! Luuk’s apartment was delightful! Exactly as described and perfect for our group of four friends gathering for the first time since COVID. We found very tasty bakeries very near by, loads of restaurants to try out and shopping galore! Very hard — impossible to resist! Everything we needed to make a simple breakfast was available in the kitchen and we even made a light supper on our second night when one colleague was very delayed arriving. Throughout the process Luuk was responsive, quickly confirming that the apartment was available for our stay and also providing clear and detailed instructions on how to get the best out of our stay.

From an early age with my parents and later as a student and today in my working life I have been able to see a lot of the world. Traveling is a fantastic activity and a nice place to stay makes a trip complete. Airbnb is very suitable for this. I like culture, cooking and socializing with friends. I love walking, cycling and running and the surroundings of Leiden are excellent for this. Last but not least, I am the proud father of two beautiful teenagers.
