We love staying on the south jetty in Bandon and this was the 1st at this location. What we loved: The walkability to the jetty, beach and upper lookouts. The well-stocked home. The layout is awesome for family game nights and meals. What we didn’t love: It didn’t feel incredibly clean. Bottom floor: bedsheets had a noticeable stain and the shower wasn’t completely cleaned. Most of the seating could use updating. The fireplace wouldn’t keep a fire going, despite reading instructions, researching online, and the experienced fire builders on our group. The wall heaters in the kitchen/dining didn’t work so we relied more on the rest of the wall units. The 1st floor makes a lot of loud creaks. Sensitive sleepers should sleep upstairs.
