Susan is one of the most lovely hostesses I have met and she was most accommodating and kind! We fell in love with her home, the layout, the style and comfort. Soft, soft sheets, fresh-smelling towels and impeccably clean! The vista was breathtaking from every window! She picked a bouquet of fresh flowers from her garden for us- they were prettier than any bouquet I’ve even been give, including my wedding bouquet! We’d LOVE to stay there again should we be called back to her area for any reason. I promise you will love your stay here! The fireplace in the bedroom and the angled windows all around the room to make a kid of all walls -bay window was delightful! Oh, the views of the lake and pond and property and extended properties!! Charming as a movie!

My son and I enjoyed our stay in this house. the rooms are larger than they appear in the photos. Susan was lovely and accessible. we didn't use the kitchen much but I enjoyed having a nice selection of Keurig cups each morning. The fireplace was nice and heated the room quickly, and extra blankets were thoughtfully provided. everything was very clean, plenty of towels - just an easy stay - happy to stay here again if I am back in the area. Ate most of my meals at Arabica coffee just outside Radford University - family run, delicious fresh food and the desserts are heavenly.

Susan has created a peaceful and positive retreat at her family home. I admire the details of her family story that provide identity and connection to the home her grandparents cultivated. The land and home are beautiful and my bed was so comfy!! Well worth the extra drive from BBurg and close enough to jaunt up to Floyd for events and yummy delights. Certainly this is one of my favorite places and hosts!!

I didn't want to leave! I've stayed with Susan before in a different room. The Green Room is my favorite! Everything was so lovely, comfy, and the house is precious! The family memories Susan has taken the time to memorializeand share are very special. I'll definitely come again!

So wonderful! Comfy bed. Great fireplace. Very restful. Reminds me of my great aunt and uncle who had a beautiful farmhouse I loved as a child. Susan is a.m.a.z.i.n.g!! Definitely returning!
