We absolutely loved our stay at Chickadee! The cabin is beautiful and decorated so nicely, we instantly felt right at home! We had everything we needed and really appreciated all of the extra touches around the cabin like the board games and books, as well as a very well-stocked kitchen! The property is so peaceful and very private while still being close to Glacier National Park, Whitefish, and many other things to do. Carmen is a fantastic host! She gave clear instructions, always responded to our questions, was super friendly and gave us lots of info on things to do in the area! Our only regret is that we wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area! Huge thank you to Carmen for such a great stay!
We will be back! Third trip to MT from OR with our border collie mix, and this was the first TRULY dog friendly air bnb. Finn was able to get on the furniture & sleep with us, like he does at home. Happy dog = happy life! The cabin was close to both Whitefish & Kalispell, allowing SO many choices for dining, hiking, etc. We even drove to Glacier one day, and it was 20 minutes away. Carmen was communicating with us throughout the trip about little tips & tricks, checked on us & chatted a bit. Truly felt like we were staying with friends. Thank you Carmen!!
The perfect getaway. The cabin is wonderful - very well set up and comfortable, in a beautiful and quiet setting. Carmen was charming and very helpful. Allowing us to bring our little dog made our vacation even more special. We really enjoyed our stay at Chickadee Cabin and look forward to future stays there.
It was our first trip to Whitefish. We loved it! The Chickadee Cabin was the perfect spot for us with our Australian Shepperd. Located just a short drive from downtown, we really enjoyed the area with the cabin as our home base. We'll be back for sure.
The chickadee cabin was quiet and cozy and only 5 minutes from downtown Whitefish. We loved the peaceful atmosphere after a long day at the ski resort.

Hello! I'm a real estate broker in Whitefish Montana, who serves all of northwest Montana, and I absolutely love the area I live in. The area is filled with outdoor recreation, and I enjoy all of it, including boating, kayaking, rafting, paddle-boarding, hiking, snowboarding and so much more. If you need suggestions on things to do, I'm here to help, so ask away! Both my Chickadee Cabin and Lazy Bear Lair rentals are within minutes of hiking/biking trails, and river accesses. I have a wonderful dog and travel with him often, so I understand the importance of great vacation rentals that allow our furry friends, which is why my Chickadee Cabin rental allow well-behaved, vaccinated pets. We hike often, so I'll let you in on our secret little dog-friends escapes. It's a pleasure to meet new people from all walks of life, and I'm looking forward to meeting all my guests.
