A piece of paradise! The beachfront location can not be beat. Accessible only by a sand road requiring 4x4, the property is very peaceful. You can enjoy days spent walking along nearly empty beaches, watching the tide come in and out, exploring a nearby sand dune, or taking boat trips to the Bazaruto Archipelago. If you’re lucky, you can book your boat excursions with Steve (ask the hosts to connect you!) The lodge is rustic and wonderful. Don’t expect things to be shiny and modern! But everything is kept very clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. The kitchen is well-equipped but you will need to bring any consumables with you. Keep that in mind as going into town takes 40min each way. The beach varies a great deal with the tides but is always pleasant for swimming - you just might have to walk for a bit! There’s a small rocky part at the top of the beach but not an issue to navigate: at high tide you can wade in using the concrete paths, low tide bring your sandals :)

Eddie and Ilsa's place is a dream for nature lovers. Raw and authentic but doted with absolutely everything you need. Comfortable, safe, clean. What you imagine is one thing. Getting there and feeling this place is above what my mind could have designed. The location is amazing. Charming. One of the few places around Vilankulos where the low tide won't restrict your boat rides to certain hours and where you can swim all day long and admire the beautiful sea. The area is extremely safe. The restaurant next door serves fresh food in a nice ambient. If you need to go to Vilankulos, you can get a 4×4 ride from Ninon and Steve, who are residents at the venue and are the most helpful and beautiful people. For your boat rides, which are a must (Bazaruto Archipelago is a natural wonder and unique in many ways), I hired Eddie's boat. Alex, the captain, is the kindest, most knowledgeable and professional man. Communication with Eddie was faultless, I felt looked after every step of the way.

Outwardly rustic and relaxed but with all the necessary luxuries. Fit for purpose, quintessential Mozambique Beach Holiday. We will be back. Highlights were boat days on Allegre with Alex at the helm.

If you want a real Mozambique experience then this is it! Very comfortable house with huge deck overlooking the beach. We have stayed in many places in Mozambique and this is our favourite house and location. We hired Eddie's boat and skipper which was a real bonus. Caught some fish, went snorkelling and visited the stunning islands. Can't wait to go back!

Had a great stay at Blue Paradise. It is a stunning house with an amazing view, right on the beach! Can't recommend this wonderful house enough. We will definitely be back :)
