the house is clean and big but very cold (No ber) and a little bit too far from everything else for our taste. We had an emergency and had to go to the hospital that was 45 minutes away with one of our children. The person that did our check in was very friendly.

Cosy apartment in Rio that easily hosted a family of 5 (w/ 20, 17, and 10 year old kids). We manage to keep the place relatively fresh during this hot summer week with the window's blinds. Don't be afraid of stairs, there are anyways mandatory in this area of Italy. The kitchen is on the small side, but largely enough to fixing a pasta dinner and there's a BBQ on the wonderful roof-top. Parking is easy (down the stair paved alley:-)). Shower, toilet and bathroom sink are all in the same room. Needs a bit of organisation, but nothing more than at home. Sesta Godano is a 5 minutes down by car where all amenities (grocery, pharmacy, coffee, bar & restaurant) can be found. For visiting the beaches, one needs 30 minutes drive (Levento). This is also the starting train station to visit the 5 Terre. Parking in Levento is complicated during business hour, we recommend to take the train before 9 am to have a paid lot nearby the station. We found two times a free parking lot on curvy road to Bonassola. Stairs (:-) are bringing you down to the shore where you'll find gravel beaches. Perfect for snorkelling and cliff diving.
