After a long day of swimming, do those poor legs a favor: Although nested in a quiet little alley, my 2-bedrooms downtown apartment is just a minute’s walk from everything — main street, beach, restaurants and stores. Built in the heart of El Nido for small groups of 4-5 people, this “traveler’s headquarters” accommodation provides your friends or family with an equipped kitchen, fiber optic internet... And the damn good rest they deserve between each of their adventures in the islands! This is a simple but functional apartment — like a real home, comfortable without being fancy. It’s air-conditioned and has a rainfall-style hot shower, a large fridge with freezer compartment, a 2-burners gas stove, two 6’’ queen size beds, and 10 Mb/s fiber optic wifi. There’s a living-room of about 20 sq. m, a kitchen, a bathroom, a comfort room, and two bedrooms. Both bedrooms offer privacy; they have lockable doors and no window. There’s a dining table for your group to share moments together, as well as some space to hang your wet clothes after the beach.

在这里度过了愉快的三天。在一个很有名的餐厅旁边，跳岛和坐船可以在十分钟之内走到码头，对面就是小卖铺能够买到日常用品饮料等等。卧室没有外窗自然很安静。为了使用厨房选择了这家。唯一的遗憾是我们五个人加了个床垫在卧室里住起来有点拥挤。整个菲律宾都是虫子难以避免。Ben很热心帮忙问跳岛游和船票，船票一定要提前一天早上就买好，因为我们的疏忽晚上没买到船票不得不多住了一天。

Their place is as described, the hosts are very nice they even let us check-in early and left my luggage for few days. It’s close to town, they’ll help you arrange whatever you need. Although, since it’s in the ground floor , you can hear a bit of the upstairs when people are coming in.

This is a very convenient and central location to explore El Nido. The apartment is clean and functional with good AC and dark bedrooms. As described, the building does not fully close to the outdoors so mosquitos are a bit of an issue sometimes even with the doors closed they can get inside. There are rotating blackouts as well so just be mentally prepared that this is not western standard luxury but it’s functional and authentic and gets the job done. There was noisy sound transfer from upstairs at times but as long as the guests staying up there are reasonable it’s not too bad.

The apartment is located downtown, just a minute’s walk from the main street and the beach where island tours depart. It’s close to restaurants, stores, bars, massage salons, money changer… It’s situated in a quiet alley where 4-wheels vehicles can’t access. There’s a convenience store just in front.
The neighborhood is mixed between a few other Airbnb accommodations and some residential houses. Local people are friendly, helpful, and most of them speak English well. The area is very safe.

出行信息

The apartment can be reached by tricycle, about 15 minutes from El Nido airport (access by plane from Manila, Cebu...), 10 minutes from the van terminal (access by road from Puerto Princesa, Port Barton...), and 5 minutes from the port (access by boat from Coron).
Tricycles (“tuk-tuk”) are a common way of moving around the town and can easily be hailed from any street.
Cars aren’t allowed to park in town. There’s a paid car parking at the port (10 minutes from the apartment). Motorbikes can park in front of the apartment.
