The accomodations had everything we needed. The host provided snacks and a bottle of wine - all much appreciated after a long day of travel. The bedding was very comfortable. Location was convenient, a short bus ride into the city center. The host provided LEAP card for the bus, so we didn't need to go get one. We also used the FREENOW for rides when I. a hurry. Rathgar and Terenure are nice neighborhoods with lots of restaurants and pubs, a pharmacy, and markets. We had a fantastic time in Dublin and Richard's place made for a great base.

The location was perfect for our visit with friends in the area as well as its convenience to the city center. Really beautiful gardens on the property made the stay especially lovely. Richard made the stay very comfortable with generous welcome gifts and a well-stocked kitchen with coffee, tea, and snacks. It was especially helpful to have a pre-paid bus pass. This made our travels into the city so much easier. And, he found us a converter for our US appliances, which we had forgotten to pack! All in all, an excellent spot and would highly recommend for a quiet stay just a bit outside of the city.

The Cottage behind the Brighton Road terrace home was absolutely delightful. The hosts were great, responsive, proactive, genuinely kind people. They take immaculate care of their home and garden and were welcoming to us for our 1 week stay. Upon arrival to the garden, we were greeted regularly by Bosco, the sweetest little dog who loves a belly rub. The cottage is in a great location , taking only 20 minutes to get to city center, but nestled in a very walkable, quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. There’s plenty of delicious, non-touristy restaurants and pubs as well as convenient grocery stores in both Rathgar and Terenure. The cottage itself is spacious with ample storage space for longer travels, amenitized with anything you’d need during your stay, and situated in a very well-kept garden. It’s perfect for a couple looking to be part of the village but outside of the noise and craic. Highly recommend sitting outside to enjoy the cottage as more than just a place to sleep.

Absolutely charming and clean cottage in a beautiful location! We wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to stay here again! Richard was extremely helpful-great restaurant, pub and transportation recommendations. The cottage was comfortable and full of thoughtful amenities. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement est charmant, super douillet. En plus il y a vraiment tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin, nous n’avons vraiment manqué de rien. Plusieurs fois, à l’arrivée et durant le séjour notre hôte s’est assuré que nous avions tout ce qu’il nous fallait ou si nous avions des questions, sur le logement en soit mais aussi sur la vie à Dublin en général( les horaires des pubs, restaurants, fonctionnement des transports…). Très prévenant mais pas du tout intrusif. Je vous le recommande vivement, vous allez être chouchouté. Le logement est assez éloigné du centre ce qui permet d’être au calme mais on est à 5min d’un arrêt de bus qui permet de le rejoindre en une quinzaine de minutes, et les bus passent très régulièrement (environ toutes les 5minutes en journée et 10minutes en soirée). Très pratique pour profiter au maximum de la ville.
