公共交通非常方便，购物也非常方便，楼下就是公园，整体非常便利。阳台的景色很好，特别是看墨尔本的日落。

Apartment in a great spot, host helpful and responsive. The beds were comfy. But the apartment itself is tired, and needs love. The carpet is very stained and smells, furniture is marked and stained, and there a few maintenance items that have evidently been left unresolved for a long time. I stay in a lot of airbnbs and I know sometimes things just happen but this one had the air of neglect. For example the whole kitchen tap lifts out when you try to turn it on, and it’s mouldy underneath which suggests it’s been like that awhile - there’s no way you couldn’t notice it when using or cleaning the tap. There’s no shower caddy or shelf so you have to put your soap etc on the shower floor. The bath mat was a weird tiny little fake fur mat that isn’t absorbent. The shower head sprays mostly out the sides and dribbles. There were badly stained mismatched mugs. The main bedroom has black mould all along the windowsill. Overall just no pride taken in comparison to most hosts.

I really enjoyed my stay at Matthews apartment. It was a perfect location, being just 5 minutes walk across the park from my family where I spent a lot of my time. It was comfortable, clean, it felt safe and had everything, as a single traveller from the UK, I needed for my stay. The view from the appartment across the city and the surrounding area was fabulous. There were plenty of good resteraunts, shops and facilities nearby, all within a short walk. Getting to the city was easy, by tram or train. I did have an issue with a leaking pipe on the water cistern whilst I was there, but as soon as I spotted it, I contacted Matthew and it was efficiently dealt with very quickly, in a friendly, pleasant way and it did not have any impact on my day's plans at all. The only thing that puzzeled me initially, was where to take my rubbish, but a quick chat with a friendly neighbour soon explained that. Overall a great place to stay and I will be hopefully be back next year!
