Vito‘s place was absolutely incredible. We felt at home from his hospitality to his amazing local suggestions. It was nice not to be in the hustle and bustle of the center of town but close enough to walk there in less than 30 minutes. The view is stunning and having a pool is great. We hope to return one day!

We spent 4 nights at Vito's while visiting the Amalfitan Coast and had a very good time. The appartement is very spacious, with 3 large double bedrooms and decent common amenities. The house itself is a bit off the main road of Posilipo but to our opinion it is a great advantage: it is more quiet, very easy to access, easy to park the car, great view of the sea. Yes you have to climb back up the mountain but after a copious Italian meal, some exercise is needed ! Vito gave us a number of tips on where to eat and what to do. We highly recommend staying at Vito's !

The villa is absolutely stunning. Our group was amazed by the gorgeous views and beautiful villa. Everything was absolutely perfect and we cannot wait to return sometime soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Punta del Sole and couldn’t be happier with our experience! We were a group of 4 adults and 1 infant and we had more than enough room during our 5 day stay. Franco and his family were amazing hosts and accommodated anything we needed. We were welcomed with espresso and limoncello while our 4 month old daughter was dotted on by Franco’s family! Franco arranged groceries to be delivered shortly after we arrived and was generous enough to provide us with fresh eggs from the family chickens and delicious homemade wine! The villa has an amazing terrace with beautiful views of the sea. We had beautiful weather during our stay and were able to enjoy the fresh sea air with all of the open doors. Each room also has its own air conditioning units that worked well if needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we actually prepared our own dinners a few times. Some previous reviews stated that the stairs to the villa were difficult, however we found them to be not too bad. My 68 year old father with a heart condition managed to tackle them! The villa is located on the outskirts of Positano but we found that it was only about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town (and that was with a baby in a carrier). We found the walk into town not bad, but it may be a bit more of a challenge to get back for some when the weather is really hot. We decided to walk to town and then use the bus system to get back. Even if it meant just using the bus to get to the top of town to avoiding climbing all of the steps and then walking the rest of the way home. We hired a taxi one evening and were able to arrange a ride to town and back. It was a bit pricey at €30 each way, but that was for a van to accommodate all of us. It may be cheaper for a smaller vehicle. Renting a scooter may be another option if you are planning on making frequent trips in and out of town. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Punta del Sole! It was our favourite stop on our 3 week vacation through Italy.
