Choice location as very close for browsing high street shops and walks along the promenade. Snape Maltings and Southwold relatively nearby for trips out. Clean and spacious with warm accommodation well equipped with modern appliances and all utensils(cutlery, plates etc) needed for self catering. The most interesting feature was the large number of paintings/pictures, figurines and pottery in most of the rooms. Possibly designed by a collector or artistic interior designer who liked antique furniture and strange objects. Pine flooring with large mats(except in the bedrooms which were carpeted throughout). One negative - the vintage three legged stools around the kitchen table needed some glue on their spindles to keep the legs from wobbling. Quaint to see but unsafe to sit on!

Staying in Aldeburgh with other family in other properties and it worked really well. This property was large enough to get everyone together for an afternoon. Loved the quirky decor and some of the art was beautiful.
