Lovely cottage, perfect for our family to celebrate the New Year. The pub opposite the cottage was closed for most of our stay which seemed strange being New Year’s Eve. Went to Ramsholt Arms, lovely pub in nice location 10 minutes from the cottage.

Cycling break, very rural location opposite a nice village pub serving seafood menu. Bentwaters Cold War museum and Bawdsey Radar museum worth a visit . Cottage rather dated but clean , warm and tidy so rather expensive for what it is. Note check in is 4 pm and check out is 9 am which is rather early on a Sunday .

It's a charming cottage , honestly presented and very well cleaned. The kitchen is well equipped and wifi worked well. Disappointing there is no shop in the village. I would return.
