自我介绍

After living in numerous places around the country, we are excited to return to our hometown of Asheville, and to share our family property. Three of our four grown children live in Asheville, and our daughter, son-in-law and grandson live nearby on part of the eleven acre property. Our sister (and co-host) Jenny lives in the log cabin on the property. We like to open up our home to meet new people and let them experience the peacefulness and fun of mountain living. I am a Financial Advisor with Earth Equity Advisors, headquartered in Asheville. Our firm provides responsible investing and is a certified B Corporation, seeking to use business as a force for good. My husband Todd is an Anesthesist and works at Mission Hospital in Asheville. We love to travel, and have been as far as New Zealand and Australia, and to Africa twice. We are also avid hikers and enjoy the Great Smokies and travel to National Parks in the west. We are on a quest to hike in all the National Parks, and have been to 45 parks so far (out of 59). One of Todd's most exciting hikes was to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite and we just returned from visiting five of the eight National Parks in Alaska in August. We started as Airbnb hosts at our lake house at Lake Norman six years ago, and have had wonderful guests---the people that stay with us have always been so respectful of our home, and often take great care to leave it in good shape. When we have had the chance to meet our guests in person, it is such fun to learn about other people's travels and lives. We are enjoying renting our new guest cottage in Asheville and meeting more great people!
