Kristina and Richard’s place was amazing! It was everything we were looking for in a lake house and it was only a short drive to downtown Cooperstown. We would most certainly stay there again.

Anglers Lodge was a great place to stay while in Cooperstown. It was 20 minutes from Dreams Park where my son was playing baseball and it was an easy drive. The house is nice, a little on the rustic side. It could use a couple upgrades especially on the deck because it felt a little unsafe for kids. However it had great amenities, big fridge, dishwasher, gas grill, and an awesome coffee maker. We loved that it had direct lake access and amazing views. We would definitely stay at Anglers Lodge again if were ever back in Cooperstown!!

I don’t know if there exists a “bad” place on this most pristine lake, this “Glimmerglass”, but Angler’s Lodge is a real gem. Smaller than some others, but so private and yet right next to the road and right on the lake. Take a dip in the crystal clear water if weather permits, but wear something on your feet. The small mussels and rocks are rough. Well appointed kitchen and dining table or deck make eating in a no-brained, but don’t miss the great dining around Cooperstown. Our host, Richard, called us to make sure we had what we needed, and made some great recommendations. Four adults or couple with 3-4 kids will have plenty of space in this rustic haven.

This was a great find. quiet, peaceful, and most importantly BEAUTIFUL. the view of the lake from the deck was great. easy check in, check out fully stocked kitchen new stove, great grill, lots of room in the fridge place was very homey - there were also very few bugs inside given how many there were outside. dock and stairs down to the dock have seen better days. make sure to wear shoes to not get splinters. docks is kind of small, but still fit 4 people laying out to sun tan. only thing i would say is that the house has been well loved - remote broke, living room light was flickering, pretty creaky floors, the deck table was very flakey, and some knobs on the furniture would pop off. but nothing that doesn’t happen in a well used house. overall 8/10- dock stairs and dock could use a remodel (spent most of our time there), and the stay was very good overall!!
