Das Cottage ist phantastisch gelegen in einer tollen landschaftlichen Umgebung und der ideale Ausgangspunkt um die Inseln Islay , Arran , Jura zu erkunden und auch die Region um Campeltown . Auch Oban ist gut zu erreichen . Die Ausstattung hat alles was das Herz begehrt ,um phantastisch kochen zu können . Die Gastgeber waren auch vor Ort und es war eine Freude Sie kennenzulernen . Meine Familie und ich würden immer wieder hier einkehren wollen . 5 Sterne für die Unterkunft , die Region und die tollen Gastgeber .

Absolutely stunning cottage with everything you would ever wish for, from pizza cutters to designated coffee machine mugs! Nothing was left to chance by Philippa and Amanda. We had the most amazing Christmas holiday week and were even invited to the local church Christmas Carol, where everyone was so friendly. The cottage is very well equipped with all the modern appliances and well organised. The location is beautiful with amazing views of Scotland's hills as you drive down the road. Dunmore Cottage is large and warm, bathrooms are modern with a superb deep bath. There are lots of towels, cutlery, pans and pots, and if you; like me enjoy cooking, you will love the kitchen. We were impressed with the quality of everything, the incredible peace and quiet ( best sleep ever!), the cleanliness of the cottage, and how beautifully decorated it was. We are very grateful for the Christmas tree and all the warmth we received during our stay. We highly recommend Dunmore Cottages to all!

We chose Ross Cottage because we wanted somewhere that was quiet and was a home away from home: and it really did deliver. When we arrived there was a selection of Scottish treats and a bottle of prosecco awaiting us, a very nice touch. It was so peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful. The house is well maintained with beautiful decor and furnishings, and has all the amenities that you could want and more. There was a very helpful book of recommendations, which we used that to plan our day trips, and a very cute guest book that was filled with fantastic entries. Visiting Gigha was really the highlight of the trip, we visited twice and would recommend dining at The Boathouse. Make sure you book early as it fills up quickly and you don't want to be disappointed. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely week, cottage fabulous and great place to return to after a day out. Gorgeous surroundings. Only one minor suggestion would be to remind people to clean the BBQ after use. It clearly hadnt been cleaned after previous use, we didn't choose to use it in the end but would have to have cleaned it first. 🙂

Amazing place to stay - clean, warm and perfect location to explore islands and Argyll. Great kitchen. Welcome hamper was super duper! Highly recommend :)
