The location was stunning. Have to be honest, when we got inside I feel the kitchen and bathroom were a bit dated and looking tired. The rest of the place could have done with being decorated.

My wife and I, and our two kids (aged 4 and 8 months) really enjoyed our weekend here! The location is remote and beautiful, exactly what we were after. The garden is incredible and was perfect for both our nervous dog and our 4 year old son who spent plenty of time exploring within the safe confines of the fences. Brian was really helpful via DMs, and everything we needed was taken care of. I personally absolutely loved having the fire available, it helped to really wrap the whole experience in a bit more of a cosy blanket. We also really liked that we were so far away from everything. With the exception of a busy farmer, we maybe saw one car go past every 10-30 minutes. This is the perfect place to come and relax and to truly switch off. This was also my first time on the West Coast, and a quick trip to the beaches at Port Ban really helped sell the place, though the drive in is enough to have me looking at property websites anyway. I heavily doubt this will be the last time we stay.

Lovely cottage, secluded and peaceful. Easily able to visit all the places in Kintyre we wanted to see over 2 days from this location. Nothing was too far away or too inaccessible. Single track roads are very quiet and easy to drive; lots of passing places but we rarely saw anyone else at all. And the views along them are great of course. Good sized bedrooms, clean and comfortable with a cosy living room too. Log burner a lovely bonus. Garden was lovely and the fact that it is secure was great for our young dog who loved the space. Internet connection wasnt that bad; I had expected none at all so was pleasantly surprised. Only thing that caused hesitation was the kitchen; just a bit less well cared for than the rest of the cottage but in no way detracted from a lovely stay. Has everything you need and all in working order. Would happily visit again. Its a lovely place.

Stayed here for my dad's 60th, it was exactly what we were looking for. The area was so peaceful, a proper getaway which was needed! Perfect size for the 4 of us and the dog and the place was kitted out with everything we needed for us and Oscar! My favourite part was sitting in the conservatory watching all the different wildlife come to the feeder in the garden! The little touches like the bottle of prosecco in the fridge, games and dvds available were much appreciated. To top it off we misplaced money whilst staying and thought it was gone forever, after we left I received a message saying they'd found it and sent it back to us! We were so grateful for everything! Thank you☺️
