we spent 4 weeks at Simone's place and loved it. Simone was a friendly and helpful host, quick to respond to any query or issue. She is also an interesting person who we enjoyed meeting very much. The best things about the villa were the wonderfully peaceful setting and shady terraces overlooking quiet, green spaces with a few attractive villas. We more or less lived outside on the terraces, watching the hummingbirds come to the feeder and identifying the many other visiting birds. There was even a regular Motmot visiting in our final week. If we return to Tobago, we would definitely hope to return to the same villa. The amenities were as described, and the large fridge and freezer were especially important such a hot climate. The chairs and the bed were extremely comfortable. Initially it was difficult to find the villa and if you hire a car, beware of the potholes! The only other negative was the mosquitoes, but sadly they like the same places we do..... Overall highly recommended.

I need a place to recharge and Waterfall Villas was perfect in every way possible. I felt very safe and welcomed by Simone during my stay here. Simone is very personable and warm and the extra island warmth and hospitality was awesome. Lou Ann was also amazing and friendly and answered any questions I had and always checked in on me from time to time which I appreciated. Now let's talk about the Villa 5 stars all the way. Everything you could want and more with the only sounds being the lovely birds and the wind chimes out on the porch which is just so peaceful and beautiful. The plunge pool was perfect during the warm days and there's Mt Irvine beach just 5 mins drive away which is ideal. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and every nook and cranny of the house was immaculately clean and tidy. Thank you Simone for hosting me, and thank you for your kindness and hospitality. I will definitely be back. 100% 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Peaceful, affordable, friendly host, beautiful, safe.

Tobago is a great Island to visit and Waterfall Villa is situated in a good area, however it’s up and down two hills so not an easy walk if you do not have a car. The bedrooms and bathrooms were of a good size, lounge was ok but we never used it to sit in, the kitchen is compact but workable (I did make some comments to Simone ) which she has taken care of, however I feel that due to the surrounding vegetation there should be a mosquito panel in the kitchen window as it’s open louver panels, allowing mosquitos into the house The semi detached villa photo needs to be updated as it does not reflect how close the newly added lower apartment is to the villa social outdoor space. The outside patio is not on the sunny side of the hill so plunge pool is quite cold as the patio does not get the sun in the day time except in a very small corner . The patio would benefit from a seating set a little larger and giving a little more comfort, plastic sofa and chairs small and poor cushions

We arrived for our stay with optimism, but the reality fell short of expectations. While the location was prime - near beautiful beaches, the accommodation itself felt ready for a refresh. Issues arose around a lack of running water, cast a shadow over our stay. The owner being abroad meant managing through a contact in Trinidad. While they helped by hiring plumbers and getting private company to fill the tank. The owner's insinuations about us deliberately sabotaging the waterline felt unnecessary and frustrating. To protect ourselves and ensure clear communication, we switched to communicating with the owner directly through the Airbnb app from then on, creating a documented record. The issues persisted with further plumbers called out, which led us to seek alternative accommodation prematurely through customer support. Other areas of concern included malfunctioning TVs in the bedrooms, recurring issues with the plumbing in the toilets which would regularly overflow.
