Katarina's brother met us at the door and showed us around the apartment. He was very helpful and communicative. The apartment is big and has all the conveniences needed. It's located next to the central open-air market where the local farmers sell produce. It was fun to sit at the front window, with a coffee, and just watch the locals come and go in the market. The river cruise boats were directly accessible on the bridge on the other side of the market. Everything was very walkable. Walked 600m to Le Petite Cafe for a full breakfast with eggs, then spent a leisurely afternoon browsing the City Museum, only 50 meters away. In front of the apartment, turning right, brings you to the funicular cable car ride up to the castle. In the other direction was an excellent little sausage store, more fountains around a town square/circle, and lots of curious little shops to browse. It was very quiet in the evening, even with a window open. Loved every minute in this location.

Apartment very well located, on the central market. The apartment was very clean and well equiped. Very good communication with Katarina. I recommend!

We loved our stay at Katerina’s place. The location was so central right next to the fruit market, all tourist attractions on the doorstep, the castle funicular entrance is just round the back of the building - there a great coffee shop there too! The restaurant below the apartment has great local food and great service, I’d recommend booking if you can. We travelled with our 10 month old and Katerina left toys, a highchair and cot with mattress and linen which made the stay so easy. There is a flight of stairs to climb but we managed with the stroller just fine and Katerina welcomed us personally helping us with the stroller and luggage. Katerina stayed in touch during our stay to check everything was okay and gave us local recommendations including things suitable for our baby. There’s no living room and we worried that we would miss that space but we honestly didn’t, I think we had more valuable family time instead of sitting on the sofa in front of the tv!

Excellent charming apartment in the most central location, across from the markets and at the foot of the castle! The apartment is really nicely decorated with lots of windows, it is well equipped with comfortable bedding. Communication with Katarina was great and she was friendly and welcoming. I would stay again and highly recommend Katarina and her lovely apartment.
