Sitting on our small, picturesque Van Cleef Lake in Seneca Falls, the Boat House and Boat are private and very peaceful. Even though you are only a few blocks from town, you will feel as if you are in another world. The tiny boat will be your "water bed" where you sleep and the boat house will have all the amenities: shower, composting toilet, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, kitchen sink, sitting area. PLEASE READ next section "Your Property" for complete description. The Boat House is located down a slope on the lower part of our property on the lake. It is private, on the water and there are steps leading down to the dock where the boat is tied up. Sleeping on the boat you will have a very comfortable custom made double bed mattress. While the cockpit is open air, the sleeping berth has screens. (Please note that there is not a bathroom on the boat. At night, the stairs down to the boat are lighted for going up to the boat house. Additionally *** Please note *** The boat does not move from the dock. There are stairs going up and down to the boat. You have to climb "down int" the boat from the dock. Nothing hard, but you need a bit of flexibility. That is also necessary for ducking into and out of the cabin (sleeping area) from the cockpit area. The Boat House has air conditioning the Boat does not. There is a fan provided in the boat and open air and screens on both ends of the sleeping You have access to the whole lower part of our property which offers a fire pit and chairs to relax in. In the evening,it is wonderful to build a fire and sit under the stars after a day of adventures. That area is also available to our house Airbnb guests. We will always inform them that we have Tiny House guests and ask them to respect your privacy, if they decide to come down.
