They were the most hospitable hosts we have ever had.... just exceptional! They go to great lengths with clear communication, the little touches, and being extremely accommodating to their guests. My mom asked if we could give them a 5+ star rating! It was truly fantastic and we will stay here again if we need a place in Appleton! We were there for only a short time, but otherwise, would have enjoyed visiting with them more. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

This was a wonderful place to stay while we went out on guided fishing trips in Greenbay. They made us feel right at home with home cooked muffins for quick to go breakfast as we left very early both mornings. Will definitely stay again if in the area!

We were a bit apprehensive about staying in a place where the owners were present, but it was fine! We mostly felt guilty about how noisy our kids were but we heard no complaints from Kathy & Doug. They were very friendly and accommodated a very early check-in. They provided a “light” breakfast which was pretty extensive- homemade muffins, toast, waffles, juice, milk, water, apples, strawberries, granola bars, etc. which we appreciated for our ever-snacking kiddos. The downstairs area was decorated nicely with comfy furniture (not the second-hand mismatched stuff I usually see), bathroom was nicely done with heated floors, and the sheets were soft. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were also nice and the bed was comfy. The only “complaint” I would have is the temperature, we wished we could have set the temperature in the basement because it was a bit warm. But they went the extra mile with having toiletries available, etc. so we were satisfied with our stay!

This is our second time staying with Kathy and Doug. I didn’t think they could outdo our stay last year, but they did!!! They are AMAZING hosts and their beautiful home and patio was the perfect place for our group of six to relax between our activities in nearby downtown Appleton. They took care to work with us adjusting our original headcount; had a wonderful light breakfast and coffee/tea ready each morning that we could enjoy on their lovely patio; provided us with necessary extras for everyone’s comfort; and we all enjoyed just chatting with them, too. Wonderful, wonderful people who make you feel right at home. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Five stars across the board!! Thanks again, Kathy & Doug, see you again next year!

Everything was fantastic!! Stayed 1 night while visiting family in Appleton and attending show at Performing Arts Center. All of the other reviews are spot on--- a very clean and comfortable place to stay with wonderful and accommodating hosts. This should be given 6 stars out of 5. Will stay again when in area.
