We had a wonderful time in Broadstairs. The apartment is close enough to the town to get to everything we needed, but far enough away that it was wonderfully peaceful. The walk down to the beach was short (be prepared, sensible shoes are a must as it's a little bit steep). Once we were there, we had the beach nearly to ourselves with lovely golden sands and rockpools for the kids. The view is fantastic. In fact, one day we decided to forget all our plans and stay at the apartment, looking out to sea with the windows open. If you want a location that is central and convenient, but also calm and relaxing, this is the place for you. A small point - we wanted to vacuum before we left but we couldn't find a hoover. Apart from that, the kitchen was well equipped and the hatch through to the living room was useful. And having two bathrooms was brilliant - anyone with teenage or pre-teen kids will understand! All in all, just what we needed in a beautiful part of the world.

Amazing flat and view from the living room. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great for parking and a walk to the sandy beach. Broadstairs is lovely and Margate was great too. Worth a visit to the Turner contemporary and for kids, the shell grotto, Dreamland and we also did the pirate escape room which was fab. A good trip and would stay there again. Thanks.

really lovely location and amazing view! our second time there and even though the weather wasn't great we had a lovely break. perfect for our family of two kids and a dog
