Just WOW! The mesmerizing views, the stunning landscape, the sound of cow bells in the distance, the magical sunrises, the starry skies - Mortillina is truly very special. Our time here has been incredibly restorative & perfectly peaceful. It really is difficult to pull yourself away to explore the island when you’re surrounded by so much beauty & stillness. Lorenzo & Francesca are warm & welcoming hosts who have thought of everything to enhance the guest experience. Dinners hosted at the main house were delicious & a great opportunity to engage with them & fellow travellers. We also enjoyed cooking in the villa & dining alfresco on the spacious & private terrace. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to prepare your own Sicilian feast. A fire under the stars while watching the moon rise was the perfect way to end each day. We wish we had more time but leave with full & happy hearts after spending 5 wonderful nights at Mortillina. We look forward to returning!

Het huisje staat bovenop een berg, waar je het mooiste uitzicht van de wereld hebt en waar je ervaart wat echte stilte is. Het was onze 2e keer bij dit huisje en we komen zeker terug. Lorenzo & Francesca zijn zulke lieve warme en goede hosts. Het huisje is heel fijn. Het zwembad bij het andere huis is heerlijk en zwemmen met zo’n mooi uitzicht ga ik enorm missen. Het is privé, fijn een plek om tot rust te komen. Persoonlijk vind ik dat het huisje op een van de mooiste plekken op Sicilië staat. Mijn man en ik kunnen niet wachten om terug te komen.

Lorenzo and Francesca were the perfect hosts. Their Airbnb is pure heaven and we cannot wait to come back. Amazing views, amazing pool, amazing company and the food they cooked us one night was the best Italian food we had all week!

What a spot Francesca and Lorenzo have! Truly beautiful with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and coastline. We loved every minute of our stay in this special place and were welcomed with warm hospitality and orange wine produced on site. Throughout the space there is a real eye for design and the house itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could need. (The powerful shower and comfortable bed were very welcome!) Set just across the road from the B&B the self catering house is very private with its own entrance, covered carport, gardens and terrace with fire pit. You also have access to the pool and gardens at the B&B - both spectacular spaces and the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the sea. The gardens have matured a lot since the photos within this listing and are a real highlight. This place is a gem set in a part of Sicily that many visitors may overlook. Don’t miss it!

Lorenzo and Francesca are warm and considerate hosts who did a wonderful job of making us feel at home. We stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave. We stayed in the self catering house just across the narrow country road from the main house where they live (this has four self appointed rooms). The accommodation, gardens and pool are paradise, so beautiful and peaceful. Our hosts have such attention to detail in all the fittings and provided everything we could possibly need. We had breakfasts and dinners (and one lunch) at the main house. Lorenzo is an excellent cook and also has home made wine to have with dinner. We had long chats about everything which made our stay even more special. From here you can visit lots of local sights (Selinunte, Agrigento, beaches) or relax by the pool. I highly recommend staying here.
