What a lovely place to stay! we could not have been more pleased with the cottage, which had everything we needed for a pleasant weekend. our hosts had provided well for their guests and were good at pre-visit communication and meeting a special request. Black Mountain was also an unexpected surprise. We found far more available in amenities than we had anticipated and actually spent more time there than in Asheville. We would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, lovely mountain visit.

Such a cute cottage! Exactly as described! We loved the location! Decorator touches, super comfy beds, super clean, just a lovely place to come home to! Or first time in Black Mountain, came for a show at The Orange Peel and to see The Biltmore in Bloom, The Chihuly exhibit and Black Mtn was a great unexpected addition to our trip!! Great restaurants and such a beautiful little town! We’ll definitely come back

We had another amazing stay the blue cottage! The home is the most coziest with very thoughtful amenities and personal touches including La Croix and chocolates upon arrival. They have been thoughtful throughout the house to consider each area to ensure it’s well stocked and enjoyable. Parking is also convenient being able to turn around to drive out of the driveway. The location is less than a mile to downtown back mountain - the guest book even has a custom walking route! If bringing a dog, you’ll feel right at home with amenities for the pups as well. We are looking forward to our future stay at the blue cottage.

Our top priority was to visit our daughter in a space that could provide family time—meals together, relaxing down time, and outdoor spaces to enjoy. This quaint cottage was beautifully decorated and felt like home. My parent also stayed with us and loved it as much as we did. I read my book in the hammock in the sunny back yard, walked to Lake Tomahawk, and cooked a lot of meals in the well appointed kitchen. Our stay could not have been any more perfect—I’m grateful for the joy we had making special family memories!
