Let baby seal greetings delight you, the retreat’s intentionally curated design refresh you or Sunrise+Sunset over the Sound take your breath away from your spot at the dining table, sofa, kitchen (w/coffee, tea+anything needed for a delicious meal), outdoor gas FIREPIT, fire table, GRILL or inflatable HOT TUB. At high+low tide, you’ll be rejuvenated. The property has beautiful 180 degree unobstructed views of the ocean, beach, marina, Vashon Island, Maury Island and Olympic Mountains from the entire front of the inside of the house, yard, patio and hot tub. — A max. of 8 People Total are permitted to be on the property at any given time. Very tastefully decorated rental with everything a coffee and tea lover will need! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Spectacular views from almost every room. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy watching the wildlife (harbor seals!) and water and mountain views. We enjoyed playing board games and eating meals at the large dining table. The kids enjoyed exploring the beach at low tide and we had a great time taking out the kayaks (thanks for having them available!). We managed to get creative and figure out sleeping arrangements and how to share the bathroom with our group of eight. Book this place, you will not regret it!

We stayed here for our annual mother daughter weekend and it was definitely the most magical place we've ever stayed! It was so peaceful and private, the house is beautiful and feels like home. We got to see seals and eagles and our girls walked around during low tide collecting shells. I have already recommended this place to friends and would love to come and stay again.

Staying at Kellon and Sara's house was an absolute delight! Seriously, everything is so well thought out, and I loved the idea of video explanations for the tech stuff in the house – super convenient. The place looks super stylish, and that bay view from the window is like waking up on a ship – loved it! It's chill and private, but you've got shops nearby. You can genuinely feel the love put into every detail. Would totally come back. It's leaving me with great memories of my trip to Washington! Thanks a bunch!

Beautiful location! This place was private and peaceful with amazing views from everywhere. We took our son for his birthday and our hosts spend the time to hand write and card and hang up decorations, so thoughtful. The hosts were very communicative and friendly. We highly recommend this place, the views are priceless. Thank you to our hosts, Kellon and Sara for providing a beautiful place for our family to stay. We do plan on coming back!

Located less than 10 minutes from SeaTac Airport, approx 20 min from the city of Seattle and in one of the most charming coastal neighborhoods—Des Moines (walk 3 min down the beach during low tide or 8 min down the trail during high tide to the Marina!)—anything you can want is at your fingertips but you can feel completely out of reach.

Our neighbors are kind and we want to do everything possible to respect their comfort in the community (including being in harmony with the quiet culture that fosters such rest and peace). We ask guests honor the environment that we are grateful to be a part of by only remaining on the beach in front of our house or walking towards the Marina/pier (please do not walk North towards the other homes as it is private property and it will be treated as trespassing), using the common stairs only to travel to/from the house and committing to quiet hours of 10 pm-10 am.
