This location is amazing. It was so peaceful to sit and stare out into the water. We saw seals playing pretty much every day we were there! Our whole family is already asking when we’ll be able to go back!

This home is on a private walkway shared by other homes along the waterfront bulkhead. Everyone was very friendly but be prepared for the neighbors walking by with their dogs or to access their vehicles parked at the end of the walk. Also be prepared to wheelbarrow your belongings to the house from the private parking lot. The house is the first on the walk so it's not a long walk but all other residents on the bulkhead will walk by with their belongings, groceries etc. just 10' away from the front windows. We were there in early March so we only saw two couples and some older kids heading to and from school. It's a very quaint neighborhood with a very private beach and kind neighbors. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking anything and the furniture was modern and comfortable. The floors are a faux wood ceramic tile so bring slippers - they are very cold especially in late Winter/early Spring. We had a few house cleaning issues upon arrival which were remedied swiftly.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location is peaceful. View is amazing. We saw several sea otters and sea birds. It was hard to find the place. Instructions weren’t clear. Once we entered, the house was extremely cold. It appears the thermostats turn themselves off for energy conservation. I felt the house was smaller than what seemed from photos. Also, master bedroom is upstairs(has a very beautiful view of Colvos Passage) , however the bigger bathroom is attached to smaller bedroom downstairs.

Great home and location, but we had a handful of inconveniences throughout which went unsolved. nicely redone inside, beautiful kitchen, comfortable home. Great views, quiet and nice beach walk. The unfortunate: it was a weekend where temps were in the teens overnight. When we arrived, the heat was not on. The heater in the common space wasn’t working and the heater in the big tiled bathroom. We used radiant heaters in hopes the kitchen and living room may get warm. It didn’t; I messaged in the morning saying we’re bundled in the house and it’s very cold in the common area. We were told we could buy wood and make a fire. The cord for the large shade in the living room is broken. On our last day I messaged at 7:30am saying pipes are frozen and there’s no water. No showers, no flushing toilets etc. and the fire was rolling smoke out the front now, so heat source gone. 6 hours later I got a response “thank you for letting us know” We didn’t feel taken care of or compensated for issues.

This is a beautiful location! The path from the parking to the house is very simple. It is a very sweet home with an incredible view. The walk along the beach is perfect, and the neighbors are friendly. We would come back to this airbnb.
