Beausejour is a tranquil, residential area surrounding our main Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium that often hosts national and other events.
Most residents proudly form part of its various neighbourhood watch groups, for safety and community upkeep.
If you enjoy walking, for exercise there is a tennis court and promenade within 100yards walking distance.
There are beaches, restaurants, gas stations, mini marts and a police station in and around the near by town of Gros Islet within 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic.
Pigeon Island Historical Landmark is a peninsula also within a 7 minute drive. There you’ll find beaches and a facility that offers tours but also used to host our famous Jazz & Arts Festival among other events

To get around, there is public transportation and a Beausejour bus shuttle system, however they’re unscheduled.
You can opt for Taxi, Rental and alternative Transportation Services.
Taxis fare vary depending on distance and destination from as low as $30 to $250 per trip.
Bus fares are a bit more standard ranging between $1.25 to $2.75 for short common routes.
Rental cars or jeeps can range from EC $150 to $200 daily.
The Transportation company - Allez is another option that operates similar to an Uber, where you schedule a trip via the Allez app which you download for free from your App Store
Note that we drive on the left-side and you may require a driver’s permit to operate a self-hire depending on your nationality. This can be obtained by the rental company or at the airport.
