Wonderful place to stay while visiting family in the area! Leah was a wonderful host, so helpful and responsive. The place was immaculate, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious. You can tell that she has put a lot of time and effort into the home, with many details to make the stay more comfortable. I would love to stay there again.

Very personal, cozy BnB. Amenities were above and beyond those experienced in other stays. Morning breakfast was delicious and personally prepared by host. On arrival we were welcomed with tea and warm apple cake. Interaction with Leah made us feel we were at home visiting family. A great experience overall and if ever back in the area would stay again!

Leah is a great host. This is a true Bed & Breakfast. the breakfast was fresh and delicious. the beds were phenomenal. It'san old farm house, updated, but kept the old charm. The little touches make the stay more fun, from the old fashion key for the room, the light that runs like a fire candle, and a claw bathtub. The updates finish this off. For example, I've been to a couple AirBNBs with heated bathroom floors. This one was set perfectly. If you're passing through Southern Illinois, stay here, that easy.

Nested in the woods , with charming Victorian accents, the whole place transports you in a different world with all the comfort, space and cleanliness supervised by the best host. From the bathroom to the linens and towels, the wooden doors and stunning doors, everywhere you look , you enjoy exquisitely chosen details indoor and outside, including mehadrin schach on the patio. Very comfortable beds, delicate beddings, fireplace, couches in bedroom, Beautiful view with sunlit forests. Easy parking and entrance from main road. Privacy mixed with warmest welcome, delish gourmet healthy food. Minutes only to SIU Campus and stores, paths, caves, rivers, farms. Really helpful host for findings activities. Absolutely charming and refreshing, the attention to every detail want to make you stay longer. Beautiful in every way. The living room is so relaxing with fireplace, soft armchairs and leather couch. Much nicer than photos, you can’t show a warm bathroom floor on the picture ! 😉 love it

I have stayed at the Inn a few times. It is a beautiful serene destination. I arrived after a long travel day to find Leah greeting me with a warm welcome and answering my many questions. She was terrific. It wasn't long after that I tucked into a wonderfully comfortable bed with great linens in an immaculately clean bed. The bathroom resembled a spa. In the morning I had breakfast in an adorable breakfast/tea room with entry to the outside back patio. It was another great stay and I give you a big THANK YOU. I leave you highly recommended and look forward to more chances to visit.
